EDITING NOTES

A lot of people asked how I edit videos. I edit like others do but maybe the difference is I make sure I put an effort into my videos. Not that I'm saying others don't. It just makes me happy to do so.

I always tell people that anyone can learn how to use any software. Anyone can learn how to cut or add transitions and other effects. What would make your video different from the rest is how you imagine it would turn out. So yes, you should have a vision and that would be your advantage towards others' work.

Vision is not equal to plan. Vision is how you see your video in your head. It will not always turn out the way you imagine it to be (as what always happens in my case) and it's alright. And in case you are one of the lucky few who achieved their visions as-is: CONGRATS! YOU DA MAN!

So there's the tip. Think of how you want to be different, imagine it, and do it. ;)
